Hubble and Webb's views of NGC 602
This slider tool features two views of the young star cluster NGC 602, which resides near the outskirts of the Small Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy roughly 200 000 light-years from Earth.
The image on the left shows the cluster as seen by the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope that was published in 2007.
The image on the right shows a new image of NGC 602 as seen by the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope.
